Name: The Hellfire Club
Leadership: The Inner Circle
HQ: Unknown
Area: Global
World: Superia

The Hellfire Club is an aristocratic secret society that trades in influence as much as it does in ideals. Operating behind velvet curtains and coded agendas, it assembles some of the sharpest minds and most connected players in the world. Members don’t just collect power; they refine it—funding research, shaping politics, and quietly steering events until the “public” version of reality looks like it was inevitable all along. Its mythology is equal parts courtly ritual and hard-edged pragmatism: etiquette is the disguise, leverage is the real currency.

In a world without anti-Mutant prejudice, the Club’s obsession is all about capability and control: who deserves access to the future, who gets to decide what “threat” means, and which heroes or anti-heroes are allowed to become legends. The Club plays the long game, most visibly through its sponsorship of the Massachusetts Academy for Superhumans and, less visibly, the Hellions. Massachusetts is their pipeline and their proof: a rival institution to Xavier's Sky High, where talent is cultivated under discreet patronage, where students learn that heroics may win battles, but institutions win eras.

The Hellfire Club’s true strength in Superia is that everyone can underestimate it—until the doors open for the right people, the wrong ones are quietly redirected, and the next phase of the chessboard clicks into place.

The Inner Circle

The Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club is controlled by four "courts," patterned after a chess theme. The original two courts were Black and White, and more recently, Silver and Gold have also been added.
