|bg=Nicholas had unexceptional upbringing in the city of Port-Au-Feu, with a family who seemed fairly boring. Though his parents disappeared fairly early on, leaving him with little memory of them, none of his other relatives really distinguished themselves at all. The only interesting thing in his life happened to be a friend he'd made, a part-time actress and full-time witch named Madison Montgomery.|When his superhuman abilities began to show themselves more in earnest, Nicholas left his dull, superstitious relatives to go to the Hotel Oktober and learn more about those abilities...which of course happened to be exactly the time some witch-hunters were seen around, for the first time in a long time. Madison and Nicholas were able to hold them off, and the timely intervention of one Myrtle Snow left the hunters without one of their own.|Nicholas joined the coven and continues to work as an agent against supernatural threats, especially the horrific Outside and similar permutations. He and Madison keep each other sane, more or less.&lt;br /&gt;

An infinity stretches out with countless facets, each catching the light for a fraction of a fraction of an instant. Nicholas has the inherent ability to use the unlimited possibilities of endless parallel dimensions to his own benefit, by crystallizing potential through his will.|By doing this, he can perform a number of possible feats. For example, he may crystallize two other compatible versions of himself, from potential timelines, to perform a magical act with the Power of Three. They will last only through the purpose for which they were crystallized, and then they will return to their dimensions of origin. Alternatively, he could accomplish something similar to using Tempus Infinituum and change the choices that led to a bad situation, erase an injury, or undo a particularly terrible event. He could even make a do-over for something that went disastrously wrong.|However, it is a tremendously demanding power, and Nicholas does not use it lightly. It is almost exclusively used for saving lives that would otherwise have been lost, or trying to undo something that proved crucial to the world. Nicholas will have to rest for an extensive time after performing such a feat, and he may remain comatose for a while, to recover his energy, if it is something truly massive. Naturally, his recovery can be encouraged by healing, such as Vitalum Vitalis. For at least a day afterwards, but ideally at least three, it is generally best if he refrains from concerted dimensional magic, as the effects can easily go out of control, or he simply may not have the juice to back them up. Overexhaustion from interdimensional manipulation may even cause Nicholas to operate at a level lower than usual in one or more abilities, simply from lack of power, so it's in his best interests to take care of himself.&lt;br /&gt;

A major strength of potions is allowing a complex effect to be prepared ahead of time, then rendered portable for quick enactment at the time of need. This means that one of the great strengths of a witch is being able to brew up magic in advance, removing any need for casting or incantations when they are put to use.}}&lt;br /&gt;

Life force naturally replenishes over time, and through rest, the strength of the witch or warlock can be recovered. Taking on powers he doesn't normally have can be a risky venture, however, because unless he's had some experience with them, he may not be able to use them well or effectively at all. Enhancing the powers he already commands may make them difficult for him to control, though he has a far greater chance of accomplishing what he set out to do.&lt;br /&gt;

Infinitum is a fairly unstable power, and the more drastic the alteration, the briefer it tends to last. Nicholas bumping up abilities he already has and uses regularly should last him through a trying struggle, but acquiring abilities he does not normally use, especially multiple or enhanced, will not last reliably for very long. If he, for example, acquired the aforementioned danger sense and bumped it up to Enhanced, he could probably detect allergens in food or intuitively sense the calories contained in food for a few minutes, but it's not guaranteed that he would be able to figure out how to effectively use the power in that limited amount of time. For practical purposes, their castings all operate at the Enhanced level in most instances. However, Nicholas sensed that he wasn't such a creature and saved him from both the Outside forces and initially misunderstanding allies. He also has large, soulful eyes, and he makes small, high-pitched noises which most would probably find adorable. Normally, his skin is on the extremely soft side of leathery, though if he is trying to get away from a threat, he can secrete a very slippery, viscous substance which makes holding onto him very difficult.&lt;br /&gt;

Jeek is resistant to the effects of Outsiders and the Outside, and he seems to be remarkably tough. If he did happen to have any part cut from him, he would heal the damage and another Jeek would spawn from it. In this way, he is remarkably adaptable, though there is potentially significant risk of excessive proliferation, in the hands of someone far less responsible. He is slightly photosensitive and dislikes intense bright light. Jeek likes to get into mischief, though he usually is a good enough judge of what might be too much. He is, most of the time, friendly and cooperative. He can tell when someone dislikes him or intends him harm, just as he can be sure who his allies are.}}&lt;br /&gt;

Power of Three spells can be done by any three witches, but they have to have the same focus on their goal and ideally be on the same page. Witches who are at odds with each other may even have the spell fail or go wrong.
