|pers=Patriotic to a fault, a firm beliver in what America stands for, and what it an be as a country. He is willing to stand up for the ideals of the country, the truth and justice for which it stands. Jericho firmly believes in what he's doing, and that using his powers for the betterment of those who can't defend themselves is the right thing to do. He took an oath to defend this country and her people, and lives up to that oath every day. Determined and unwilling to back down even when he gets in over his head, he will often find himself having to think on the fly to get out of situations he has found himself in.
|bg=Thre was a time when Jericho Hawke was just your average teenager. He joined the Army right out of high school, wanting to serve his country as his family had done for generations. Desert Storm, Vietnam, Korea, both World Wars. It goes all the way back as far as he can trace his family lineage.

Once in the Army, he joined the infantry, getting plenty of training in combat and tactics, and succeeded to the point where he got the attention of some higher ups who were planning a new super soldier program. He was more than happy to volunteer, and in doing so, was subjected to an injection of a serum and then bombarded by radioactive rays in an attempt to make the serum function. At first nothing seemed ot happen, but within a few days he had manifested powers, the ability to generate and control fire.

Jericho's powers had manifested themselves, but apparently not in the way the higher ups had wanted. With no warning at all, the project was shut down. Jericho himself was pushed out of the Army, discharged, albeit honorably, and any attempts to track down the doctors or officers who had been involved in the project has been fruitless. Not to be deterred, however, he has decided to take his newfound powers and use them to make the world a better place.

UNARMED COMBAT - ''Competent'': Jericho has a lot of training from his time in the Army in how to fight hand to hand.

== POWERS ==

FLAME GENERATION - ''Enhanced'': Still new at being able to use his powers, Flarehawk has gained the ability to project flames around himself, though his range to be able to control the flames he generates is somewhat limited to the area around him.

FLAME MANIPULATION - ''Basic'': Jericho's powers enable him to manipulate the flames he can generate. He hasn't figured out how to manipulate flames he doesn't create yet. He can, at the time being, form them into various shapes, generally preferring to form them into a shield and sword for combat, as well as forming flaming wings to enable flight.

FLIGHT - ''Basic'': Jericho's ability to control the flames around him enables him to fly by forming the flames into wings and using it to generate enough lift and thrust to get himself off of the ground. His flying skills are still under development.

== WEAKNESSES ==

ENERGY REQUIREMENTS Jericho's abilities require his body's energy. He can eat and drink to replenish the calories burnt during his power usage, but it can be very draining to use his powers heavily or over extended periods of time.

NO SUPPORT The group that gave Jericho his powers have vanished, and while he remembers names and faces, he can't seem to track any of them down, forcing him to fend for himself with these new abilities.

WATER Water is a natural enemy of fire, trying to use his powers in a heavy downpour or while under assault from any sort of water or ice can cause them to fail.
