Groi is said to have gifted five [[Stones of Power]] to people she believed worthy thousands of years ago. It is said that those who were given these gifts rose to power and wealth of unimaginable magnitude but that soon afterwards all feel to ruin.

==Worship==
A thousand years before the [[Great War]], a group of treasure-hunters began to build temples to Groi, in the hopes of incurring her favor and discovering the locations of the missing [[Stones of Power]]. They filled each temple with the treasures they had thus far discovered during their lives, and installed dragons to guard each. The dragons let none approach the temples unless they could bring with them a treasure that was deemed worthy of the temple's collection.
